In 1971 an ambitious entrepreneur started a small business with an enormous dream: to build it across borders and employ thousands. From that humble start we have become one of the world’s leading babywear manufacturers — and we intend to set the global benchmark for consistent quality, safety and cost in garment manufacturing.
Vertical integration
Cotton in. Finished garments out.
Seven stages. One group. No handoffs to strangers.
Spinning
Yarn production inside the group, so fibre quality is set by us, not bought in.
Knitting
Circular knitting to the fabric specifications our customers set.
Dyeing & finishing
Our fabric processing unit has run since 2007, controlling shade and hand-feel in-house.
Printing
Fabric and garment printing, opened at Avissawella in 2012.
Embroidery
Part of a value-added range that also covers printing, cutting and sewing.
Cutting
Gerber cutting systems, with operator training run on our own floor.
Sewing
Lean sewing lines built around standard work instructions.
